Video ads for games
Turn a game's store listing into a vertical install ad that uses the listing's own art, with a voiceover and captions.
What to paste: Paste the game's App Store or Google Play link. Menivor reads the public title, description, screenshots and rating, and the free preview stays inside that art and that text. For example: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.example.yourgame
Any app, not only games? Use the main listing preview.
Three hooks for a game
Examples we wrote to show the idea. The preview above writes its own lines from the listing you paste.
Variant 1
“The first level, in the same art the store page already uses.”
Leads with the listing's own screenshot instead of a trailer we do not have.
Variant 2
“One loop of play, cut from the screenshots on the listing.”
Sets the expectation: the footage is the store art, not new gameplay we filmed.
Variant 3
“If the store page made you tap, the ad should look like that page.”
Keeps the ad and the listing visually the same, which is the whole point of starting from the link.
What you get
- A live listing card: icon, title, screenshots and rating, when the store page has them
- Three opening hooks from that listing, or a plain template of the same facts when the writer is unavailable
- After sign-up, a vertical 1080×1920 MP4: those screenshots, a voiceover and word-by-word captions
What the ad shows
- The listing screenshots, held long enough to read the art
- One sentence from the description about how a turn or a level works
- The game's name on the last card, and the store rating only when the listing prints one
Before you run it
- Do not claim a download count, a score, or a review that is not printed on the listing.
- Do not add footage that is not on the store page. The screenshots are the pictures the ad is allowed to use.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this a captured gameplay video?
- Not from the free preview. The preview reads the public listing and drafts hooks from it. A signed-in render uses those listing screenshots as the pictures, with a voiceover and captions. It does not record a new play session.
- Can I paste a Google Play link for a game?
- Yes. Play links and App Store links both run through the same preview. Play listings are read from the public store page, which does not always include every field an App Store listing does.
- Do I need an account to preview a game?
- No. Paste the App Store or Google Play link. The listing card and the hook preview run with no account and no card. Rendering the finished video, with a voiceover and burned-in captions, needs a free account.
