Times are converted from US Eastern Time, the zone most posting-time studies publish in, so they shift by whole and half hours into your zone. Treat this as a starting point — your own account's analytics (when your specific followers are online) will always beat a generic benchmark.

Menivor can schedule a finished reel to publish directly at any of these times — render once, post on time. Make it a finished video free

How to use it

  1. 1Pick the platform you're posting to.
  2. 2Pick your time zone from the list, or tap "use my device's time zone".
  3. 3Read the best day-and-hour table, now converted to your local time, and schedule your next post in that window.

About this best time to post calculator

Posting-time research almost always gets published in US Eastern Time, which is only useful if that happens to be your audience's clock. A 9am Eastern recommendation is 6am for a Pacific creator and 2pm for someone in Central Europe: three very different (and two much less useful) times to hit publish.

This calculator takes the typical best day-and-hour windows reported for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, X and Facebook and converts every one of them into the time zone you pick, carrying the weekday across midnight when the shift pushes a slot into the previous or next day.

Treat the result as a starting point, not a guarantee: the algorithm rewards posting when your specific followers are active, and the only source that knows that for certain is your own account's analytics. Use this to pick a first posting schedule, then adjust once you have a few weeks of your own data.

Frequently asked questions

What time zone are these best-posting-time studies based on?
Almost all publicly reported posting-time studies (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, SocialPilot and similar) publish their recommended hours in US Eastern Time. This tool converts those hours into whatever time zone you pick.
What is the best time to post on TikTok?
Typical reported windows cluster around mid-morning on weekdays (for example Tuesday and Thursday mornings, US Eastern) with a secondary afternoon or evening window on Friday and Sunday. Pick the platform here to see the full week converted to your time zone.
Is there really a single best time to post?
No single hour works for every account. These are typical, aggregate windows, not a guarantee for your specific audience. Your own analytics, which show when your actual followers are online, will always be more accurate than a generic benchmark.
Why does LinkedIn show 'skip' on weekends?
LinkedIn's audience is overwhelmingly active during the work week. Weekend posts on LinkedIn typically get a fraction of weekday reach, so the calculator flags Saturday and Sunday as low-value rather than inventing an hour that isn't backed by the same research.
Does this account for daylight saving time?
No. The US Eastern anchor is standard time (UTC-5) and your selected time zone is also a fixed offset, so the conversion can be off by an hour during the few weeks each year when one region has shifted its clocks and the other hasn't.
